Fuel Spill - Main Street and Jefferson Street
Monday, March 30, 2009

At 0821 hours, the Berlin Fire Company was alerted for a fuel spill at the intersection of Main Street and Jefferson Street. Engine604 arrived to find a commercial Genie Lift that was laying on its side after being driven off the trailer without ramps in place. The operator of the Genie Lift made it to the small section of overhang above the front doors to M.R. Ducks. The patient was removed from the overhang by way of a ground ladder. Crews remained on the scene to place absorbent on the spilled fuel. The patient refused transport.
