Mutual Aid- Residential Structure Fire

On May 15th at approx. 0215 hours, BFC was alerted for a single engine to assist Ocean Pines Vol. Fire Dept. for a working house fire.  The initial arriving engine from OPVFD reported heavy fire from the attached garage with fire showing on 3 sides of the structure.  Berlin's engine arrived and its crew was assigned to a second line to the C side of the structure. Fire had consumed the two car garage and its contents and had extended into the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.  The fire was rapidly extinguished and overhaul operations found no further extension of fire.  Units from Showell VFD responded as well.
