Funeral for Mayor Cardinale

On Wednesday, May 7th, at 1100 hours, members of the Berlin Fire Company gathered to show our support for the family and friends of Mayor Tom Cardinale. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Mayor Cardinale.

Vehicle Fire - Cathell Road and Cash Road
May 6, 2008
At approximately 0500 hours on Tuesday, May 6th, units were dispatched for a vehicle fire. Assistant Chief Duane Phillips was first to arrive, reporting a small fire in the engine compartment and establishing Cathell Road command. The crew of Engine 604 quickly extinguished the fire with a water can. All units returned to service within 15 minutes.......

Controlled Burn - Azalea Rd
May 5, 2008
Firefighters participated in a controlled burning of a 2 story residence on Monday night. Units were on the scene until approximately 2100 hours.
